Ofir Nagar founded Shulmen Construction LA out of years spent on job sites and a set of values passed down through two generations before him. His grandfather was a carpenter who worked with patience and precision, turning raw material into something strong and useful — the kind of craftsman who cared about clean work in the small details most people never see. His father worked as a maintenance contractor for marble and stone plants, where the standard was simple: make sure everything works, and hold to it every time.

Ofir carried that into a broader mentorship under Robert, a construction professional with fifty years in the trade, who held that every project deserves integrity, precision, patience, and respect. That standard is still the one the company builds to today.

Since 2011, that has meant keeping design, engineering, permitting, and construction with one point of accountability, so a homeowner in Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, or Hancock Park never has to manage three different firms to get one project built.

Robert brought fifty years of construction experience and a standard that didn't bend: every project deserves integrity, precision, patience, and respect. He passed away from COVID-19 at 70 — his standard is still the one the company holds to on every job.
